AccentCare Appoints New CFO

Dallas-headquartered AccentCare has tapped Saurabh Gupta as its new chief financial officer.

The post-acute health care company announced the leadership change Monday morning.

Gupta previously served as CFO of Envision Medical Group, working in various finance and strategic planning roles at Steward Health Care, pharmaceutical and medical device companies Alcon and Novartis, American Airlines and Dell Services, among others.

“Saurabh is a highly regarded leader in the health care space with a strong track record of driving financial strength and business innovation,” AccentCare CEO Laura Tortorella said in a statement. “Leveraging his deep industry expertise and experience driving outcomes at high-growth companies, he will contribute to our mission of putting the patient at the center of everything we do. I am confident Saurabh will be a key member of our leadership team as AccentCare continues to provide excellent care in the post-acute space now and into the future.”

Gupta ascends into the new role at AccentCare following the departure of Ryan Solomon, who in October became CFO of Aspirion, a health care revenue cycle management company. Gupta will be responsible for guiding AccentCare’s financial strategies and driving its business performance.

AccentCare is a portfolio company of the private equity firm Advent International, offering hospice, palliative care, personal care, non-medical services, home health, care management and high-acuity home care. The company operates more than 250 locations in 31 states and the District of Columbia, caring for roughly 200,000 patients and families annually.

“I am excited to join AccentCare,” Gupta said. “AccentCare has a unique value proposition and strong foundation in the growing post-acute care industry. I look forward to partnering with the team to help accelerate its growth trajectory and continue to serve as the provider of choice in the industry.”

AccentCare in January 2022 unified its seven business lines under the company’s main brand. The move included subsidiaries Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care, Sta-Home, Gareda, HRS, Texas Home Health, Southeastern Health Care at Home and Guardian.

The company has been focused on growth in recent years, with joint ventures among health systems and physician groups as a key driver. Most recently, AccentCare in April formed a JV with Houston-based Memorial Hermann Health System, expanding its home-based care business in Texas.
