Former Anthem VP Named President of Aspire, CareMore

Catherine Campbell, principal of the health care consulting firm CBC Advisors, has been tapped to become president of CareMore and Aspire. Between 2010 and 2012 Campbell was vice president of strategy, planning and business development for the insurance giant Anthem, Inc. (NYSE: ANTM), which is the parent company for Aspire and CareMore.

At CBC Advisers Campbell provided advisory and consulting services to health care startups with solutions for Medicare and Medicaid managed care programs, with a focus on vulnerable, medically complex patient populations. She previously led the Medicare business for insurance company Molina Healthcare (NYSE: MOH), and worked in government programs for Blue Shield of California.

“I look forward to helping CareMore and Aspire become lifetime, trusted health partners to the vulnerable patients we have the privilege to serve,” Campbell said. We have a talented team and are well-positioned to deliver programs across multiple care settings, ensuring continuum of care, and ultimately improve whole health outcomes.
