Aging Media Network Launches Hospice Marketing & Advertising Award

Aging Media Network, parent company to Hospice News, is launching its first annual awards program to recognize the industry’s leaders in advertising, public relations and marketing. The Aspect Marketing & Advertising Awards are designed to showcase creativity in hospice messaging. 

Hospice News’ sister sites covering the skilled nursing, home health, and senior housing industries will offer similar awards.The nomination period begins Nov. 2, and submissions will be accepted through Jan. 15. Recipients will be named at noon Central time on March 15, 2021.

“The new Aspect Awards provides a showcase for providers and professionals on their incredible marketing and advertising programs,” said George Yedinak, co-founder of Aging Media. “These industries have faced immense challenges of late, and marketing, advertising and communications will be critical as these industries come back from the COVID-19 crisis and its impact to their operations.”

Entry types for the awards program include:

  • Multimedia Campaign (includes more than 3 categories together)
  • Print, Direct Mail & Billboard Campaign
  • Audio / Radio / Podcast Campaign
  • Video or TV Campaign
  • Social Media Campaign
  • New Brand Launch
  • Rebranding (Before and After)
  • COVID-19 Messaging & Communication

Candidates must submit an entry fee as well as details on their campaigns via an online form and will have to complete a slide deck. A panel of industry experts will evaluate their submissions and choose the winners.

“Hospice advertising and marketing is key to continuing to educate not only consumers but also business partners,” Yedinak said. “The program aims to raise awareness, showcase the best of the best and elevate the profile of the industry. It’s a win-win for all.”
